Corrections and Retractions Policy

The Encyclopedia of Psychology for the Artificial Era.

Policy last revised October 23, 2026

Editorial Purpose

The publication maintains a traceable and revisable scientific record. Errors in dates, research descriptions, quotations, citations, identifiers, attribution, clinical framing or interpretation can be brought to editorial review.

Minor spelling, typography and broken-link maintenance may be corrected without changing the conceptual substance of an article.

Scientific and Material Corrections

Material corrections affecting evidence, diagnoses, interventions, quotations, research methods, effect interpretations, or chronology should be documented so a reader can understand the change.

Evidence-based recommendations are reviewed against the cited research and professional guidance. Clinically consequential errors receive priority.

Retractions and Removal

Retraction may be appropriate for fabricated citations, misattribution, unlawful reproduction, fundamentally unreliable material or serious rights and safety concerns. When compatible with applicable duties, the URL can retain a notice describing the record’s status.

A withdrawal does not authorize publication of personal correspondence or information that must be restricted for privacy or legal reasons.

Request Process

Email [email protected] with the affected URL, disputed passage, evidence, suggested correction and reference information. The editorial team evaluates the submission according to evidence, legal obligations and the applicable scientific standards.

Submitting a request does not guarantee adoption of a proposed wording or create a professional treatment relationship.

Version and Canonical Integrity

The primary canonical URL is preserved wherever possible. Substantive corrections carry an updated date and explanation, and associated catalog links or citation metadata can be updated accordingly.

Editorial records retain verifiable document identifiers and revision history. The public publication date identifies the issue on Psychology by Bogdanova.
